I was blessed with the opportunity to witness something truly amazing tonight. I witnessed Acts 2:47 in action. “…And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
Tyler has been struggling with a few things, and realized he needed Christ in his life. He has been coming to church and digging deep into Gods word. His faith has been growing just like in Romans 10:17″ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Tyler learned John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
“If you love me, keep my commandments.”
Tyler confessed that he believes Jesus is the son of God.
“because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.”
James 2:14 “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? “
Tyler is choosing to repent of his past life, and turn away
” Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. That times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord and that he may send the Christ.”
He learned of different examples in the bible of faith growing, he was pierced to the heart. And was baptized into Christ, just like the Eunuch did in Acts 8:36-37.
1 Peter 3:21
“Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”
“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.”
He has been baptized into Christ and joined the family. He has decided to walk the Christian journey and I am so excited to call him my brother in Christ! We know it wont be easy, but it will be worth it!
“and we know that for those who love God all good things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Happy Thursday, God Bless ❤
